Privacy Policy
Overview
0phase is a bare metal hosting company providing infrastructure services to developers and organizations. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise handle your information when you use our services, visit our website, or interact with us in any way.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you understand how your data is managed. Please read this policy carefully.
Information We Collect
We collect information in several ways:
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and billing address.
- Payment Information: We process payments through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment data—Stripe handles all payment processing securely.
- IP Addresses and Usage Data: We log IP addresses and collect information about your server provisioning, configurations, and usage patterns to provide and improve our services.
- Service Logs: We maintain logs of server operations, authentication attempts, and system events for security and service reliability.
- Ad Attribution Data: If you arrive via an advertisement and continue to our customer portal, the campaign parameters and click identifier from the ad (see Section 7) are recorded with your account when you sign up.
- Website Interactions: We collect data about your interactions with our website, including pages visited and navigation patterns.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our bare metal hosting services
- Process payments and manage billing
- Communicate with you about your account, services, and updates
- Respond to your inquiries and support requests
- Monitor and enhance service performance and security
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service
- Send occasional service announcements and important updates
We do not use your information for marketing purposes without your consent, except for service-related communications.
Information Sharing
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Payment Processors: We share billing information with Stripe for payment processing.
- Infrastructure Partners: We may share technical information with partners necessary to deliver bare metal hosting services (e.g., data center operators).
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information when required by law, court order, or other legal process.
- Service Providers: We may engage vendors to assist with analytics, security, and other operational functions under strict confidentiality agreements.
We do not share your data with third-party advertisers or marketing networks.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL protocols
- Access controls and authentication mechanisms
- Regular security audits and monitoring
- Restricted access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
Data Retention
We retain your information as follows:
- Account Data: We retain account information while your account is active. After account termination, we retain your data for 90 days before deletion, unless we are required to retain it by law.
- Billing Records: We retain billing and transaction records for as long as required by law (typically 7 years for tax and financial compliance).
- Ad Attribution Data: Attribution recorded at account sign-up (campaign parameters and the ad click identifier) is retained with your account data and deleted on the same schedule, or earlier on request.
- Service Logs: Server and usage logs are typically retained for 30-90 days for operational and security purposes.
Cookies, Tracking & Ad Measurement
No advertising trackers or ad-network pixels run on this website, and we do not use Google Analytics or any similar cross-site measurement code. Two third-party services do load: Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless traffic measurement provided by our CDN, and Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the fonts are fetched.
- Ad Click Attribution: If you arrive at our site via an advertisement, the click identifier the advertising platform appends to the URL (Google's gclid, gbraid, or wbraid; Reddit's rdt_cid) and any UTM campaign parameters are stored in your browser's sessionStorage. They stay in your browser unless you click through to our customer portal, in which case they travel with that link.
- Account Sign-Up: If you create a portal account, those attribution fields are recorded with your account. We may report the click identifier back to the advertising platform that issued it (Google Ads or Reddit Ads), server-side, to measure that an ad led to a sign-up. We do not share your name, email, or company with any advertising platform — only the click identifier the platform itself generated, with a conversion label and timestamp.
- Session Cookies: The customer portal uses cookies to maintain your login session. This marketing site itself sets no cookies.
You can control cookies and clear browser storage through your browser settings. On this site, attribution data expires with the browser session.
Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: You may request a copy of your personal information we hold.
- Correction: You may request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Opt-Out: You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
